The Hamilton Porch Swing offers tall slats in the seat back that couple a stately grace with ample back support. Since it is made of mahogany wood, has a galvanized chain, and uses stainless steel screws and nuts fixed on the swing, this porch swing will retain its beauty and integrity for a long time.

Some assembly is required with this porch swing. Common wood glue is required for assembly but is not included. The chain provided is 55 inches long so additional chain may be required.

Tall slat-back design provides excellent back supporta sealant up to twice a year. If your swing will hang in drier conditions with less weather exposure, we recommend treating it anywhere from once a year to once every two years.

Hanging chains are 7 feet in length. Length from the top of the chain to the inverted "v" is 4.5 feet. This chain is a zinc-plated, 10-gauge wire, sometimes referred to as a double loop or twin loop chain. Hanging clearance will depend on how high you hang the swing and the force used to create a swinging motion.
