What We Like About This Swing Set

The kids are really going to love the powder-coated chains and safety step ladder, but you'll flip for the awesome trapeze and monkey bars. After wearing yourself out on the swings, it's time for some relaxing fun at the sandbox, shaded and protected from rain by the main platform. All in all, you don't find well-built, safe, swing sets like this every day.

Since strength and durability are always an important issue with swing sets, we'll explain some of the finer points of this set. The powder-coated chains are ideal for preventing painful pinches and the tendency for traditional chains to lock up when twisted. Components like the slide, swings, and trapeze are made of a super durable plastic that withstands the kind of punishment dealt out by rambunctious children. All kids, tame and rowdy alike, need a careful eye watching when on a jungle gym. But these safety features will do a great job making you a participant in the fun instead of a band-aid applier.

And don't be discouraged if you aren't a handy carpenter. The ACQ pine is choice quality lumber and is cut, sanded and drilled before arriving at your door. Putting it together can be done in about five hours. Since this swing set design is free-standing, you won't find yourself digging support holes or planting stakes that are just going to loosen anyway. The swing set comes with a step-by-step, 3-D illustrated instruction booklet.
